Saliou Diop is an artist
and musician. Despite
having lost 90% of his
vision in an accident, he
continues to make
artwork and furniture from
found objects, teach
children in his workshop
and promote the arts in
Tambacounda, the largest
city in Eastern Senegal.
Saliou Diop est un artiste et
musicien de Tambacounda,
la plus grande ville de l’est
du Sénégal. Bien qu’il ait
perdu 90% de ses capacités
visuelles lors d'un accident,
il continue à fabriquer des
œuvres d’art et du mobilier,
à base d’objets récupérés.
Il propose également des
ateliers aux enfants, tout
en faisant la promotion de
l’art dans la région.
